Alora was sold off at the young age of 6 to an experimentalist, Truman, who uses children to create “creatures”. Creatures are non-human beings, sometimes fetishized by the public, were previously shamed. Alora creates friends while in the Lab, a girl named 4. Names were numbers at the lab, Alora was 5.A year later a new kid comes in going by the number 6, he and Alora click instantly.Alora slowly finds out about Truman’s plans and intentions and tries to strike a deal with him, he only experiments on her and leaves the other children be. He agrees and quickly starts the experiments.The constant experiments started to mess with Alora’s health and started to change her. She’d go through sleepless nights filled with pains and screams.Years later Alora finally sees the other kids before growing confused where the original 4 was. Anger fills her as she realizes Truman didn’t keep his end of the deal and continued to experiment on the kids.6 tells Alora about a plan to get out, after agreeing she’s abruptly taken back to be experimented on. Truman catches onto the plan and stops hiding the fact he’s been experimenting on the others and becomes more harsh with Alora’s experiments.The next time Alora sees 6, they start their plan, setting off fires in the kitchen before bringing the fire to other rooms. They try saving as many children as they can, but were too late, by the time they found them, Truman had suffocated them all, moments before the fire even started.Alora and 6 try to escape but were stopped by Truman standing at the only exit.Truman starts yelling at 6, furious at him, expecting more. Alora takes the blame saying she planned all of it from the start. As she distracts Truman, 6 hits Truman with a piece of rubble, knocking him out.Alora and 6 flee as the building crumbles.
